Waikiki Health Center - HI - Honolulu
| Last updated on July 6, 2011 |
To provide high quality medical and social services that are accessible and affordable for everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.
Description:
We are comprised of a family of on-site and outreach programs:
- Ohua Avenue primary care clinic in Waikiki
- Ho’ola Like satellite clinic on the north shore (Haleiwa)
- Care-A-Van Homeless Outreach and Drop-in Center in Kaimuki (Waialae Ave.)
- Youth Outreach & Friendly Neighbors programs in Waikiki
- a Mobile Medical Unit (a fully-equipped “exam room on wheels”), bringing care to those who need it most outside of Waikiki
Our integrated system and team of qualified providers and staff allows us to offer some special services in addition to primary medical care. These include caring for Oahu’s homeless residents and runaway youth, an HIV Early Intervention program, tobacco cessation, behavioral health services, traditional Hawaiian healing practices, aid for the independent elderly in Waikiki, and many more.
