Volunteer Solutions is recognized as proactive, professional, and innovative in recruiting and engaging diverse volunteers in service; as a direct result of these efforts our shared community will grow even better as it grows older. We mobilize and connect volunteers with meaningful opportunities to improve the lives of older adults and adults with disabilities in the community.

Description:
The Fairfax Area Agency on Aging (AAA) serves older adults, caregivers, and people with disabilities in Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. The goal of the AAA is to improve quality of life and promote independent living for older adults. The AAA serves as a focal point for aging advocacy and leadership. It plans, coordinates, and funds many services provided for older adults.

History:
Volunteer Solutions operated by the Fairfax Area Agency on Aging (AAA) includes many distinct aspects of service to older adults in the Fairfax and Falls Church area. Many of these programs involve volunteers over the age of 18 in direct service with clients 60 years old and over and adults with disabilities.
