Description:
The Concilio served more than 10,000 individuals in 2010 through its core programs: Community Health and Education.

In Community Health, we focus on diabetes awareness, nutrition and wellness, physical activity, and resources for the uninsured.

Our Education Program provides parent engagement training throughout the Greater Dallas area.

The Concilio was founded in 1981 to address the lack of culturally and linguistically effective services for Hispanics by traditionally non-Hispanic service providers. This issue is still relevant today as the Hispanic population continues to grow and remains underserved.

History:
Formed in 1981, The Concilio is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and the only agency of its kind in North Texas. We have been serving the greater Dallas area for 30 years. We have programs that target Community Health and Education.
