As an Agency, Horizon provides healthcare services to five different southeastern Wisconsin counties. We are a local, non-profit organization with an average of 550 employees, 100 versatile volunteers, and 2,500 patients. Horizon is privileged to serve the human spirit and bring home to those who need us.

Here at Horizon Hospice our volunteers are happy, productive, and making a real difference. Volunteers generously served more than 7,600 hours in 2011, which was a significant increase from the 4,330 hours served in 2010 - outstanding! Several of our volunteers also received prestigious awards for their dedication to the Milwaukee community. We couldn't take care of our hospice patients and families without the positive energy and skill-set that volunteers bring to our non-profit organization.

All you need to do is make time for service, choose an opportunity that matches your talents, and reach out to Horizon so we can get you started! We need hospice volunteer support to receive the Medicare benefit, so we must guarantee a ful-filling, purposeful service experience.
