Junior Achievement is the global leader in providing cutting-edge, hands-on financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work-readiness education. Junior Achievement enhances the relevancy of education, bridging the gap between what students are learning in school and how it can be applied in the real world. Junior Achievement programs also helps students realize the importance of staying in school.

History:
Founded in 1919, Junior Achievement (JA) is a non-profit organization whose vision is to “educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise, business and economics to improve the quality of their lives.” JA puts a volunteer from the community in front of a classroom to share experiences and motivate students to succeed. This is accomplished through a series of hands-on, interactive lessons provided by JA. Programs are funded by business and community support.
