26 YEARS OLD THIS YEAR. Christmas For Everyone (CFE) is a non-profit volunteer organization, serving people in need on Christmas Day in Contra Costa County. Our Goal is that no one be hungry or spend Christmas alone.
Description:
Volunteers provide free transportation to and from our location. Each person receives a new gift,new and gently used clothing. We serve a traditional Christmas meal, provide entertainment for both children and adults. Food and a gift can be delivered to the home bound upon request.
History:
This is the 26th year that C.F.E. has been helping the working poor and homeless in Contra Costa County.
We work with all service agencies in our county to provide help to as many families as possible.
We are a true volunteer organization, none of our volunteers are paid for their time.

Who really received the gift?

For several years, we have collected clothing and served on the buffet line for those in need. But we are the real recipients of the gift, knowing that the needy appreciate the clothing, food and spirit of the Holiday season.

Being involved with Christmas For Everyone gave me a non-threatening topic of conversation when meeting newcomers and anyone I meet, regardless of their background or profession.
