Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on June 30, 2011 |
The Tuesday group is restoring the area around Bayberry Pond in Lime Ridge North. A given week might find us doing site prep, planting, or weeding. Or we might be at the nursery we've just built, propagating plants for use in our work. We also do spot restoration at other sites in the Walnut Creek Open Space. If you would like to join this group, send us an email to get on our list. Each week until March 15 we will send an email describing what we will be doing and where we will meet. There is no obligation to attend all the events. You may come when it fits your schedule and the day's work suits you.
We do the same kind of activities as gardening. No prior knowledge of native plants, etc., is necessary -- just a desire to learn. This opportunity is sponsored by: Walnut Creek Open Space Foundation
We need volunteers who are free at these times
