Abbie Hunt Bryce Home - Office/Reception Volunteer

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The mission of the AHB Home is to provide compassionate, respectful, and dignified support to citizens of central Indiana who are terminally ill and without resources. With the help of many committed volunteers we plan to offer comfort, warmth, and love at the end of lifes journey for our residents. Volunteers who provide office assistance and reception will be responsible for weekday reception at the front desk (doorkeeper & telephone), providing assistance in the main office with mailings, newsletters, and filing, or acting as a courier to VNS main office.

AHB Home Volunteers must attend a 2 hour hospice and agency orientation. All volunteer are required to receive a TB test at no cost to the volunteer. NO MEDICAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED, all volunteer positions are non-medical in nature. Volunteers must provide own transportation to the Home.
