What?
Your job is CRITICAL! As people leave the serving line, please help attendees carry their food and drinks, and assist them find a place at the table. We are filling the table from the Gordon Street side to the Crawford Street side. As people look like they are finishing their food, please clear their plate for them and encourage them to play games, get free books, and visit Santa at Burr Park! As the table becomes full, you may need to direct people to where there are open seats. Trash will go in the provided bins. Gloves, wipes, and hand sanitizer are available at volunteer check in.
When? Monday, November 24th
Time? Please report to check in at 12:15 pm. Your shift will end at 2:00 pm.
Where? All shifts will check in on Hamilton St. next to the Chamber building. If possible, we encourage you to park a few streets away so that the attendees of the event can find parking close by.
Attire? For all shifts, please wear an apron of your choice to identify as a volunteer. It is also encouraged to wear comfortable shoes as you will be on your feet.
Why? Because we think it's important to come together as a community, to get to know our neighbors a little better, and to give thanks for our blessings, together.
