Who We Are
Cross Plains, a private non-profit agency, supports and serves men and women with developmental disabilities and their families in Northwest Georgia. Cross Plains mission is to be a partner in creating a community where all people have the opportunity for choice, leadership, and employment. Today, our focus is on assisting adults with disabilities to find and maintain employment and actively belong and engage in their local community.
What We Do
We support adults with disabilities to be active participating members of their community. We accomplish this by supporting people to find and maintain employment and to use their abilities to actively contribute and engage in community life. Cross Plains assists individuals with basic needs for daily living and exploration of their abilities, gifts, and strengths. Programs Include: Supported Employment-Job Development, Training Project SEARCH-Job Training-Internship Program Community Access-Support In the Community Day Services-Facility Based Support.
