Northwest Georgia Council, Boy Scouts of America

The local Northwest Georgia Council delivers Scouting programs (Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturing, Exploring, Learning for Life) to youth and families in 7 counties: Whitfield, Murray, Chattooga, Floyd, Polk, Gordon and Bartow. Our local Camp Sidney Dew provides outdoor experiences, STEM activities, and leadership development. 

The Mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make moral and ethical decisions over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
