The DEO Clinic, Inc.

The DEO Clinic is a community solution to address the health care needs of the under-served members of our community. -currently has sixty plus medical and non-medical volunteers and four part-time staff members.

The DEO Clinic provides healthcare to low income uninsured residents of Whitfield and Murray Counties. While we do treat acute illnesses, the majority of our patients have chronic disease conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and COPD. By providing them management for their conditions, the volunteers help them to stay employed or become employable while reducing the numbers of individuals utilizing EMR services as a primary care provider. Often we are able to provide our patients with temporary medications and help them find low cost options for their prescriptions.
