The Silver Bell Sprint is a kick off to the holiday season tradition and includes a 5k Run/Walk and a One Mile Fun Run/Walk in downtown Dalton. All proceeds from the event benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of NWGA Mountains.
Registration for the event is 5:00 at City Park Elementary Gymnasium. The one mile begins at 6:00 P.M. followed by the 5K at 7:00 P.M.
Awards are given to the overall top male and female finishers in the 5K and top three finishers in each age division. Medals are awarded to all one mile participants ages 14 and under finishers. Corporate Cup awards are presented for the most entrants in the following categories: government, churches, schools, small companies, and large companies.
