Swab assistant - this person is an employee or volunteer who has been trained by the DEO Clinic for approximately 1 hour. Contact us at deocovidinfo@gmail.comdeocovidinfo@gmail.com> to schedule training. The swab assistant must verify test kit numbers, write names on stickers and place stickers correctly on the unused testing vial. The medical staff will take the vial and test the patient. The Swab Assistant will hold the test bag open and allow the vial to be dropped in, seal the bag and place in a cooler. The Swab Assistant may need to cut the swab stick with scissors. This person is the final check for our paperwork and the last chance to make corrections. Paperwork must be legible, complete and correct. Parental consent forms must be complete if the test candidate is 17 or younger and stapled to the registration form. This person does not have to be bilingual. Everyone working or volunteering must sign a HIPAA agreement and submit to COVID symptom screening.
The event is at the Red Barn flea market. Setup begins at 10 a.m. and testing begins at 11 a.m.
PPE = mask, gloves, hand sanitizer. Face shield optional. All PPE Provided.
