Park Creek is working to restore and enhance the buffer zone between the school and Mill Creek. The project is a multifaceted terrestrial and aquatic restoration and preservation effort that encompasses a robust alliance of conservation-minded professionals and community stakeholder groups representing more than ten private, city, county, state, and federal organizations.  A total of five acres of riparian habitat and .03 acres of wetland habitat will be targeted for restoration efforts the week of January 17th with a culminating volunteer effort on January 22nd.

Volunteers will gather at Park Creek School at 1500 Hale Bowen Drive on Saturday, January 22nd, at 9:00 A.M. We will be planting native plants in designated planting areas and will work until planting is complete.  Volunteers should dress to work in the dirt.  Old clothes and gloves are recommended.
